Being in Rising Scholars, prepared me to thrive in a new environment that I didn’t think I would have challenges, yet I was able to build more skills, habits and confidence [along with their continuous support] both inside my academics and outside in the many clubs where I was able to meet new people, gain leadership positions and build/helped out in conferences where it helped students like me. As a big sister, I would recommend many students doubting Rising Scholars to take the leap, as it’s a big door for opportunities and development for transition to college. Rising Scholars became not just a summer bridge program, but it transformed to Mi Familia en Harvard. Forever grateful for the 2028 cohort of RSP.
