
Amanda advises admitted degree candidates and alumni of the Harvard University Extension School (HES) and delivers related career programming. She has worked for multiple universities and degree programs for a wide range of clients, and now specializes in coaching experienced professionals who are continuing their education.
Directly prior to her role with the Mignone Center for Career Success/Harvard Extension School, Amanda worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) managing comprehensive career services for two multidisciplinary Master’s programs. Her experience in career counseling, employer engagement, and event delivery has also included work at the Harvard Kennedy School, MIT’s main career services office, Boston University’s School of Management and JVS Boston. Amanda holds a Master of Education in Counseling from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Brown University.
Amanda grew up in Cambridge and enjoys contributing to the community, including volunteer work with The Loop Lab, a Harvard alumni-founded social enterprise, Charles River Conservancy and Food for Free. If you see Amanda walking to work while staring at her phone, she’s probably reading a book.
